What is the quick summary of the plot?
- All stage characters have been tossed into one town with their memories erased and histories rewritten. Through a series of events they will eventually gain them back and fight against the evil that brought them to Rideau Falls. Yes, it's basically Once Upon a Time but with theatre. Find the full plot here.
What characters can I play?
- You can find what characters are available here. Please also read the Special Affiliations and Special Abilities thread.
Help! My character doesn't have an official name etc.
- Don't worry, many characters are like that. Feel free to give them a name, age, and birthday that's within reason for the character. If you need ideas, we can help you brainstorm!
Does my account have to have the name of my character?
- Yes, at least the display name needs to be the same. So for example: Kassandra Queenie (First, Last). Name's can be changed by going to profile > edit profile > personal > display name. Be sure to save changes.
Does my profile picture have to be my chosen face claim?
- Yes, please. This makes it easier for people playing opposite of you. You can change your picture by going to profile > edit profile > avatar. We strongly suggest you use a link. If you don't Proboards automatically resizes the image and it often turns out poorly.
Do face claims have to had played the character?
- No, not at all. While we imagine that it would probably be easier if they had, you are not limited to those who have played the role in the past.
Is there a word count minimum for posts?
- No, but we ask that you try to respectfully match the length of the post prior to yours.
This is my first time RPing, is that okay?
- Of course, this is an open community and we'd be happy to help you. The staff team will help you with your application and character building if that is something you would like.
I don't see my character in the characters list, can I still play them?
- Just ask the staff about any other characters from stage shows you may want to play.
How long can my character be reserved for?
We understand that everyone has their dream roles, and that RP allows people who may never get the chance to play those roles to play them. That being said, characters can only be reserved for seven days before they will be opened again. The same goes for work in progress apps. But of course the staff team understand things happen in real life - and that should always come first. Just be sure to keep in contact with us so we know you're still interested.
Are there age restrictions for this site?
- The short answer is no. But we do ask that everyone acts mature. If you behave like an adult, we will treat you as such. We don't know how heavy things will get, so please tread carefully. But that being said, there will be no NSFW themes.
